The Forum of Personal Assistants to Local Government Chairmen and Vice Chairmen in Oyo State has showered praises on the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Abiodun Makinde, for what it described as his unwavering commitment to grassroots development, good governance, and inclusive leadership across the state.
In a statement made available by the Forum, members applauded Governor Makinde’s administration for creating an enabling environment that has strengthened local government administration and improved governance at the grassroots level.
The Forum noted that under Governor Makinde’s leadership, local governments across Oyo State have witnessed increased attention in areas such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, security support, and community development, all of which have positively impacted the lives of residents.
According to the group, the Governor’s style of governance continues to promote peace, stability, and active participation in governance, while also encouraging young people and political appointees to contribute meaningfully to the growth of their communities.
The Forum further commended the Governor for maintaining strong working relationships with local government leadership across the state, describing his administration as one that values collaboration, loyalty, and service delivery.
Members also expressed appreciation for the opportunities given to youths to serve in different capacities within government, noting that such exposure is helping to build a new generation of responsible leaders with practical experience in governance and administration.
The Forum reaffirmed its support for policies and programmes aimed at advancing development across Oyo State and pledged continued dedication to supporting their respective Chairmen and Vice Chairmen in delivering quality service to the people at the grassroots.
The group concluded by praying for more wisdom, strength, and success for Governor Seyi Makinde as he continues to pilot the affairs of Oyo State toward greater progress and sustainable development.
