Comr. Lateef Taiwo Sofiyah Salutes the Strength and Resilience of Women on International Women’s Day

Today, we proudly join the rest of the world to commemorate International Women’s Day, a day dedicated to celebrating the remarkable achievements, resilience, strength, and contributions of women across every sphere of life. It is a moment to honor the countless women who have broken barriers, challenged injustices, and paved the way for progress in our societies.

Women have always played a vital role in nation building. From community development to leadership, from advocacy to public service, women continue to stand at the forefront of positive change. Their courage, determination, and unwavering commitment to justice and equality continue to inspire generations.

As the *National Vice President of the Association of Female Comrades*, I celebrate every courageous woman who refuses to be limited by societal barriers and instead chooses to rise, lead, and make meaningful impact. Today reminds us that empowering women is not just a moral obligation but a necessary pathway toward sustainable development, peace, and national growth.

This year’s celebration further calls on us to intensify our collective efforts in promoting gender equality, creating opportunities for women in leadership, and ensuring that the voices of women are heard and respected in all decision-making spaces. When women are empowered, communities become stronger, societies become fairer, and nations prosper.

To every female comrade, activist, leader, professional, mother, and young girl with dreams of a better future, remember that your strength, intelligence, and determination are powerful tools for transformation. Continue to stand tall, support one another, and remain committed to building a society where equality, dignity, and justice prevail.

On this special occasion, I encourage all women to remain bold, courageous, and united in the pursuit of progress. Let us continue to inspire change, promote solidarity, and build a future where every woman has the opportunity to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.

Happy International Women’s Day to all women around the world, especially the resilient and committed members of the Association of Female Comrades who continue to champion progress and empowerment.
