The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, has officially announced the commencement of the 600 Free JAMB Registration initiative for eligible and indigent students across the Local Government Area.
The flag-off ceremony, held at one of the registration center in Ona Ara Local Government, witnessed the presence of the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Alhaja Mujidat Ojewumi, the Supervisory Councilor on Education, Hon. Yakub Adurodekun, alongside other key political office holders and management staff of the Council.
Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to educational advancement and youth empowerment, emphasizing that no brilliant student in Ona Ara should be denied access to higher education due to financial constraints.
He noted that the 600 free JAMB registration slots were carefully structured to support indigent but qualified students, as part of the Council’s broader education-focused development agenda.
The registration exercise begins immediately as earlier announced, and beneficiaries are advised to adhere strictly to the approved guidelines and make use of the designated registration centers to ensure a smooth and transparent process.
Education remains a top priority of the present administration, and this initiative represents yet another strategic step toward securing a brighter and more inclusive future for the youths of Ona Ara Local Government.
