On His Emergence as Chairman, Oyo State Council of Obas
Honourable Qudus Ajibola Ibrahim, aspirant to the Oyo State House of Assembly from Ona Ara Local Government, has extended his warm congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, on his emergence as the Chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs.
Hon. Qudus Ajibola Ibrahim described the development as well deserved, noting that Kabiyesi’s elevation reflects his outstanding leadership qualities, deep wisdom, and lifelong commitment to peace, unity, and the preservation of Yoruba culture and tradition.
According to him, the Olubadan’s calm disposition, wealth of experience, and fatherly role in Ibadanland position him well to provide strong guidance and direction to the Council of Obas, while fostering unity among traditional rulers across Oyo State.
Hon. Qudus Ajibola Ibrahim prayed for good health, divine wisdom, and a peaceful reign for His Imperial Majesty, expressing confidence that his leadership will further strengthen harmony between traditional institutions and government for the overall progress of Oyo State.
