In a society where many public office holders become difficult to reach once they attain power, Rt. Hon. Abiodun Muhammed Fadeyi, the Deputy Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, continues to show that true leadership is built on humility and accessibility.
Today, I called the Deputy Speaker three different times, and each time he picked my call. No assistants taking the call on his behalf, no delays, no excuses. He responded personally, with calmness and respect. That simple action spoke louder than any speech or political promise.
It reminded me that leadership is not about how high your office is, but about how deeply you value people. Rt. Hon. Fadeyi proved today that he is not the kind of leader who distances himself from those he serves. He understands the true meaning of public service.
I honestly wish more leaders could emulate this attitude. Imagine a society where those in power listen, respond, and show genuine concern for everyone, regardless of status. Governance would take a new shape and the trust of the people would grow stronger.
I am sincerely impressed and inspired.
Leaders like Rt. Hon. Abiodun Muhammed Fadeyi remind us that greatness is not measured by position, but by character.
Thank you, Deputy Speaker.
This is what real leadership looks like.
