Ona Ara Hypemen Counselling and Summit 2025 - Building Unity, Love, and Professionalism Among Entertainers.

PRESS RELEASE: Ona Ara Hypemen Counselling and Summit 2025 - Building Unity, Love, and Professionalism Among Entertainers.

The Ona Ara Hypemen Counselling and Summit 2025 was a remarkable gathering that brought together energetic voices from the entertainment scene to promote unity, love, and understanding among hypemen in Ona Ara and its environs.

The event was graced by the National President of the Hypemen Association of Nigeria, Mrs. Modupe (popularly known as Hypequeen Lagbaja), alongside the Ona Ara/South East Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Oladipuppo Omotola James (King Yebo), who both emphasized the importance of discipline, originality, and consistency in the profession.

According to Hypequeen Lagbaja, the major reason for the summit was to counsel hypemen in Ona Ara, as many do not fully understand what it truly takes to be a hypeman. The national body therefore deemed it necessary to step in — not only to educate but also to foster unity, growth, and love among members.

She explained that it is part of the duty of the national association to checkmate all zonal bodies under its leadership, ensuring standards and excellence are maintained nationwide.

Speaking further, Hypequeen Lagbaja described the role of hypemen in the entertainment world as vital, calling them “joy givers” who bring happiness and energy to others through their craft.

“Hypemen are the ones who give life to moments of relaxation and joy — taking away sorrows and spreading happiness through entertainment,” she noted.

Her message to the youths and hypemen in Ona Ara was clear and inspiring:

Be persistent, be consistent, and be original in what you do.

She further encouraged local hypemen to learn from those outside their zone, as exposure and collaboration lead to greater creativity and growth.

The Ona Ara/South East Zonal Coordinator, King Yebo, appreciated the presence of the national team and reaffirmed his commitment to continue uniting and guiding hypemen within the zone.

The event was covered by Ona Ara TV (Trendnation Media) as part of its mission to educate, entertain, and network Ona Ara youths  Making A Difference (MAD) in the community.
